Palisade Art Lovers is a group of artists from Palisade and the Grand Valley who love art and working together.Meetings: first Wednesday of the month.

PALISADE, Co. — The Palisade Open Studio Tour will return October 10–11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., inviting visitors to step inside local studios, meet artists, see works in progress, and experience the creative community of Palisade firsthand.

Presented by Palisade Art Lovers, the self-guided tour will feature artists working in a variety of media throughout the Palisade area. Visitors can explore studios at their own pace, talk directly with artists about their processes, watch demonstrations, and purchase original artwork.

​

Unlike a traditional gallery show, the Open Studio Tour gives visitors an opportunity to see where and how art is created. Participating artists will represent a range of media, including painting, photography, woodworking, glass, fiber art, mixed media, and more.  Learn about the artists by clicking on their individual pages.

​

The weekend is designed to be relaxed and accessible, allowing visitors to create their own route and spend as much time as they wish at each studio.

Art & Chocolate Walk 2025

The Art & Chocolate walk is a small business event in downtown Palisade, Colorado. Participants walk from business to business sampling chocolate treats and getting punches on an event card. Once a participant has visited each business they will be entered to win one of 4 AMAZING Prizes!! We have multiple Art Galleries, and fun boutique shops to explore! Deadline: Peach Fest Art Contest

The winner of the Peach Fest Art Contest will receive a $500 cash prize and have their piece featured on promotional materials for the 2025 Palisade Peach Festival.

Where to Enter: Artwork (and signed agreement form) is due to the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, 305 Main St., Ste. 1, in Palisade by Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at 4 p.m., or mail to P.O. Box 729, Palisade, CO 81526.

Entry Requirements:

Gallery Wrapped or Framed

No larger than 18x24 inches

No smaller than 11x14 inches

Vertical or Horizontal (size limit includes frame)

How it Works:

The top three nalists will be chosen February 5th, 2025 by a judges panel of local professional artists, chamber staff, and Peach Festival committee members who do not have an entry in the contest.

All entries will be displayed at The Blue Pig Gallery located at 119 W. 3 rd in Palisade.

Public voting among the three finalists will be at Blue Pig Gallery from February 6th - February 19th, 2025.

The winning entry will be determined by a vote of the people’s choice and announced at the reception held at The Blue Pig Gallery on Wednesday February 19th, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. The winner will be announced at 6:15 p.m.
