A full day class on the art of oil painting with Blue Pig Featured Artist, Bob Martin.

Students will paint three canvases, exploring techniques for landscapes and abstracts.

Bob Martin is self-taught with some professional guidance along the way. Having painted over 3,000 pieces in 30+ years, he has the perseverance to continue in purusit of that “one perfect piece.” He works in an impressionistic style — loose and lush. 

All levels are welcome. Class is focused on beginner and intermediate painters.

Bring Supplies:
• Paper Towels
• Odorless Paint Thinner
• Palette Knife
• Brushes #2, #4, and #6 Flat or Filberts
• Oil Paint Colors (white, Ivory Black, Red, Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Ochre)
Water soluble paints are ok too
• 3 Canvases 8x10”
• Sketch Pad
• Palette (flat dish or plastic dish)

Class is located upstairs and may be difficult for those with mobility challenges.
