I enjoy working in a variety of mediums. Assemblage, collage, mixed media, and photography.
My work represents an ongoing interest in capturing color, form, texture and composition wherever I find it. Surfaces are endlessly fascinating and entertaining to me. Whether degraded or pristine, surfaces speak of a moment in time and carry a narrative that evokes something mysterious and unique to that object.
For me, there is alway beauty to be found in the ordinary. We need only to stop a moment to really see it. That’s what I try to do with my photography as well as my mixed media work.
I have also recently published WALKABOUT, a book of black and white “street” photography from all over the world and 40 years of wandering with a camera.
