The Blue Pig Gallery was founded in June 2007 known in the Chinese calendar as The Year of the Pig!
Like that Chinese pig, The Blue Pig represents PROSPERITY.
But this prosperous pig, now in his 'blue period,' arrived in Palisade, Colorado with a mission to
encourage the thriving art community in Western Colorado with the largest, private art gallery in the region.

…as a community joining through art.

We aim to promote the commercial interest of artists; provide facilities for social contact between artists and our community and for art education.  We work with artists and arts organizations to expand the creative vision of our community.
